Ames Team Members Honored at Women Building Success Event
Women Building Success honored top Minnesota tradespeople, including Ames Construction team members, in a ceremony earlier this month.
• Natalie Pilrain, Local 49, received honorable mention for Apprentice of the Year. Natalie was nominated by Josh Thomas, Ames Grade Foreman.
• Angela Mersch, Local 49, was nominated for Journeyworker of the Year by Jared Mutterer, Ames Structures Superintendent.
• Justin Gabrielson, Ames Chief Operating Officer, received honorable mention for Women’s Advocate of the Year. Justin was nominated by Megan Holland, Ames Workforce Development Manager.
The Women Building Success organization recognizes, celebrates, and promotes the success of women in union construction trades. Congratulations to these Ames coworkers and all of the people leading the way to a strong construction industry where everyone belongs.
