Colt Welch Promoted to Superintendent
Congratulations to Colt Welch, Ames Construction’s latest Superintendent in Training (SIT) graduate, and thank you to his mentor, Regional Utility Superintendent Eric Nelson.
Colt is a pipe superintendent with Ames’ Eastern office in North Carolina. He joined Ames in April 2021 and soon entered the Foreman in Training (FIT) program, graduating in February 2023. He then entered the SIT program, and now he is the Eastern office’s first SIT graduate and the first to have graduated from both programs.
