→ What advice would you give women looking to join the construction industry?
Do not be intimidated to try. The industry has changed so much in my 30-year career, and the workforce is more diverse than ever. These changes have really opened the door to rewarding and challenging careers.
→ What makes you proud to work in the construction industry?
I am proud to be a part of the team that delivers challenging projects to our clients, knowing that what I do makes a difference in the delivery and the quality of the projects. I am proud of the projects I have worked on in my career, and being able to see the results of the hard work is rewarding.
→ What does the future hold for women in construction?
The future is bright for women. The industry is in dire need of smart people, and tapping into that workforce will help bridge the gap.
