New Project: Florida Everglades Environmental Restoration
Ames Federal Contracting Group is supporting the Central Everglades Planning Project, a broad effort to restore natural water flow through the Everglades ecosystem.
Through a subcontract with Thalle Construction, Ames Federal has begun work on a three-year, $424.3 million crushing project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Ames Federal crews will load, haul, and crush 35 million tons of blasted rock from Thalle’s dredging operations. Located about 70 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale, the project also includes the construction of haul roads and crusher pads.
