We’re sending out congratulations to Ames Construction’s latest Foreman in Training (F.I.T.) graduates and special thanks to their mentors!
Pipe Foreman James “Mikeyy” Herring joined Ames in August 2024 on the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite project in North Carolina. His mentor is Pipe Foreman Colt Welch.
Grading Foreman Josiah Huppert worked for Ames in 2015 and returned in February 2023. He has contributed to multiple projects out of Ames’ Eastern office and is currently at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport South End Around Taxiway (SEAT) project. His mentor is Superintendent Bryce Harris.
Pipe Foreman Nate Kewatt joined Ames in August 2022 and has contributed to multiple projects out of Ames’ Eastern office. He is currently at the Shelby Bypass project in North Carolina. His mentor is Foreman Eric Nelson.
