The Sevier Bridge Dam Rehabilitation project was named the 2025 Utility Infrastructure Project of the Year (Over $5 Million) by Associated General Contractors of Utah.

Ames Construction performed a complete replacement of the dam’s aging spillway, bringing it up to modern safety standards, enhancing its capacity to endure drought periods, and fortifying it against potential seismic events. The dam is vital to agriculture, power generation, and recreation in Utah.

“Confronted with weather uncertainties, workspace limitations, and formidable bedrock conditions, the team’s commitment to delivering a resilient and high-quality project remained steadfast,” says Ames Project Manager Stan Raass.

Ames is thankful for the people, partners, and community members who played a role in this project’s success!
